Synopsis

Several researches identified that Filipino students still have poor marks in science. The journey to find ways to alleviate such performance has lasted for years. Even with the use of new strategies in teaching, Filipino students find it hard to break the chain of low performance in science. This study explored the physical activities of elementary students that projected correlations to science performance. This study used descriptive research. Philippine National Physical Activity Guide (PNPAG) of Department of Health (DOH) and General Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) of World Health Organizations (WHO) were used as the bases to classify the physical activities correlated to the science grade of 133 respondents. Purposive sampling determined the articipants of the study.
