Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission file has been recommended for review and publishing by the UCMIMO.
  • The submission file is in a format ready for publishing following the prescribed instructional design and template of the IM category available in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another press for consideration.
  • The submission file is in the Microsoft Word format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Instructions for Authors (for Monograph)

Files should be in MS Word format only. Figures and tables should be embedded and not supplied separately. Please make sure that you use as much as possible normal fonts in your documents. Special fonts, such as fonts used in the Far East (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc.) may cause problems during processing. To avoid unnecessary errors you are strongly advised to use the spellchecker function of MS Word. Additionally, only the following monographs will be accepted for possible online publication by the PNU-PO: Research Series and Technical Reports (of research projects conducted)

Monograph submissions must be coursed through the Educational Policy Research and Development Center (EPRDC). All manuscripts that passed the review of the Center and is recommended for online publication shall be uploaded in the Open PNU-Publication.

 

Instructions for Authors (for Thesis and Dissertation)

Thesis and Dissertations submitted should be in a single file PDF format only following the prescribed format of the University. Figures and tables should be embedded and not supplied separately. Please make sure that you use as much as possible normal fonts in your documents. Special fonts, such as fonts used in the Far East (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc.) may cause problems during processing. Additionally, only well written thesis and dissertation as recommended by the Management Committee of the College of Graduate Studies and Teacher Education Research (CGSTER) will be uploaded in the Open PNU-Publication.

Special fonts, such as fonts used in the Far East (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc.) may cause problems during processing. To avoid unnecessary errors you are strongly advised to use the ‘spellchecker’ function of MS Word. Additionally, only the following will be accepted for possible online publication by the PNU-PO: textbooks, sourcebooks, reference books; work books, manuals, handbooks; and self-learning materials and modules.
