Development and Evaluation of a Critical Thinking Test In Mathematics for Grade III Pupils

This study sought to develop a critical thinking test instrument for Grade III pupils of Santa Rosa Elementary School Central I, Santa Rosa City, Laguna. Specifically, it aimed to do the following:

1. Construct test items that will measure critical thinking skills in Mathematics among Grade III pupils in terms of
1.1. defining and clarifying the problem
1.2 judging information related to the problem
1.3 solving problems/drawing conclusions
2. Evaluate the developed test in terms of content and
3. Estimate the reability of the test using test-retest method.
