A Preliminary Study of Itawit Verb Argument Relations: An RRG Analysis

^{This study sought to shed light on these questions: a) What are the lexical representations of Itawit verbal affixes based on their logical structures (LS)? b) What are the affixation patterns realized by verbs in the Itawit language reflecting state, achievement, accomplishment, activity, and accomplishment? c) What Itawit affixations form part of the causative counterpart in terms of the verb classification?  The researcher used a descriptive-analytical method in studying the inflectional morphemes and morphological processes in verb formation. The study employed the informant method in data-gathering.}
