Development and Validation of Modules on Selected Topics in Grade 4 Mathematics

^{This study was carried out primarily to develop and validate modules on  the least mastered topics in Grade 4 Mathematics. The topics were based from  the results of the interviews from the intermediate grade school teachers in St.  Mary’s College, Quezon City about topics which the students had difficulty in  mastering and which teachers experienced difficulty in delivering the concepts to  be learned. The outcome of the interviews was reflected in the poor results of the Second Quarterly Examination for school year 2013-2014 as observed by the  teachers. These included the following topics: Divisibility Rules, Least Common  Multiple, Concepts of Fractions, Kinds of Fractions, Changing Mixed Numbers to  Improper Fractions, Subtraction of Fractions and Multiplication of Fractions.}
