Evolving An Instrument To Measure An Effective School
Synopsis
The purpose of the study was to evolve with the indicators of an effective school climate. Specifically the study sought to answer the following questions: (1) Identify the dimensions of an effective school; (2) Enumerate the indicators of an effective school as perceived by top management, teachers, parents and students in terms of: Leadership Skills, School Curriculum (Content, Teaching Processes, and Assessment/Evaluation); School Facilities; Students Services; and School Culture; (3) Explain the significant differences in the perceptions of the four groups of respondents in terms of dimensions of school climate mentioned above.
