Effectiveness of the PNU Training Program for Non-Specialist Teachers in Technology and Livelihood Education of Region IV-MIMAROPA: An Assessment

Undoubtedly, teacher quality isa school-related factor that influences student achievement. It is an essential educational resource in addition to the teachers’ total dedication to the profession and commitment to the goals of education. It towerslike a giant in influencing quality education.

It is in this context that this study derives its significance and purpose of determining whether training teachers to upgrade their competencevia enhanced knowledge and skills, pedagogical versatility, improved student learning and improved relationship with students, peers and school heads can impact on their effectiveness as teachers.
