"Lahat Po Tayo Ay May Katapusan": The Concepts of Death Among Filipino Children
Synopsis
This study aimed for full understanding of the concepts of death among selected Filipino children. Specifically, this study assessed the concepts of irreversibility, universality, finality and causality of death among children. Filipino children's other concepts of death were also assessed in this study. This study made use of 30 children, ages 7-11 as the participants. Filipino children were taken as population and were grouped into three (3) samples according to their experiences in seeing death in the family or in the neighborhood: those who have seen death within the past sixty days, children who have seen death more than two months previous but less than a year, and children who have seen death more than a year previous.
