Development of ESP-Based Language Programs for Hotel and Restaurant Services Students of TESDA-Supervised Institutions
Synopsis
This study designed ESP-based language programs for the Hotel and Restaurant Services students of TESDA-supervised institutions. This study utilized the descriptive research design to be able to assess the language needs and propose a language program. The main reference in making the needs checklist was the Core Competencies Training Regulation of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). The language program proposed in this study was based on English for Specific Purposes (ESP), as the language needs become the bases of the language program for these students
