Demographic Profile and Competencies of Student Leaders of the Philippine Normal University

The Philippine Normal University has been very supportive to programs and activities that develop leadership skills and competencies among its students. The existence of the student government and other student organizations is a manifestation of a strong student leadership culture in the University. However, there was no attempt in the past to study the profile and competencies of student leaders in the University. Thus, the Center for Research and Development in Education (CREDE) conducted a research to establish a student leader data bank which will help in the development of a needs-based, functional student leadership development program.
