Development and Validation of an Achievement Test in Araling Asyano for Grade 7 Students

This study aimed to develop and validate an achievement test in Araling Asyano for Grade 7 students. To achieve said purpose, the researcher, together with a pool of experts, categorized the learning standards of the K to12 Araling Asyano Curriculum, the results of which became the basis in preparing the first draft of the test blueprint. The test blueprint facilitated the writing of items for the preliminary draft of the achievement test which consisted of 150 multiple-choice questions with four options. The said draft of the test was submitted to another pool of experts for content validation who evaluated the test items in terms of alignment and congruence with the learning standards of the subject area and the cognitive process dimensions of Krathwohl.
