The Effect of Group Guided Discovery Approach on the Performance of Students in Geometry

This study aims to examine the effect of group guided discovery approach on the performance of students in Geometry of Malinta National High School for school year 2012-2013. The study used the quasi- experimental approach with non-equivalent control group pretest/posttest design. The sample of the study consisted of 92 students, half of whom were taught using the group guided discovery approach, and the other half using the traditional lecture approach of teaching. The experiment lasted for two months during the fourth grading period.
