Synopsis

This study shows how an Intervention Program Model for Dyscalculic Students was evolved by characterizing the Filipino dyscalculic students in terms of their personal, scholastic, and psychological characteristics and determining which among these characteristics influence their mathematics performance. Data were gathered from 260 elementary students using the following measurements and tools: Stepwise GL Butterworth Dyscalculia Screening Test, Raven's Intelligence Quotient test, Bar-On Emotional Quotient Inventory: Youth Version test, questionnaire, and interview.
