Synopsis

This study intended to ascertain the developmental guidance needs of junior high school students (Grade 7) as perceived by selected Grade 7 students, subject teachers, and parents of Statefields School, Inc. (SSI). Particularly, the study aimed to: (1) identify the specific developmental guidance needs of junior high school (Grade 7) students as perceived by students themselves, subject teachers, and parents in terms of self-awareness and discovery; communication and interpersonal skills; school and work adjustment; home and family life; love and human sexuality; values formation; leadership, and career development; (2) determine the differences in the perceptions of the students, teachers, and parents on the different developmental guidance needs of Statefields School’s junior high school students; and (3) develop a homeroom guidance module based on the identified developmental guidance needs.
