Community-Based Counseling Approach in Conflict Resolution

Conflict resolution has always been part of the community-based workers responsibilities to the society to have a peaceful life living in the barangay. This study is one of a kind considering the nature of research approach that has been used. An ethnographic participatory research method was used in this study. The eighteen (18) community-based workers; the community chairperson, the seven (07) community councilmen and the ten (10) community justices were the participants. They were the people from whom the researcher acquired the answers to the following purposes: (1) describe the identified cases of conflict (2) identify the process of solution to the cases (3) develop a community-based conflict resolution approach.
