Synopsis

This research takes an informed look at adopted children by presenting the risk of potential maladaptive behavior among them. It presents various applications especially in the field of Guidance and Counseling, family intervention and child psychology. Evidences are presented about the potential development of aggression among adopted children. Each case presents a unique aspect of adoptation and the risk of aggression. A qualitative approach was employed and thematic analysis applied to answer the research questions; first, how aggressive behaviors manifest in adopted children? Second, what influences the aggressive behavior of adopted children? Finally, what intervention can be developed to help improve the behavior of these adopted children?
