Effects of Supplemental Reading Activities Through Facebook on the Reading Performance of Grade Six Pupils
Synopsis
This study sought to determinethe effects of supplemental reading activities on the reading performanceof selected Grade 6 pupils. Fifty –seven Grade 6 pupils of SLSU Laboratory Schools participated in the study which employed pretest –posttest control group design. The reading performance levelsof the experimental and control groups were investigated before and after the administration of the treatment or program in terms of vocabulary and reading comprehension. Thesignificant difference between the results of the two groupsafter the treatment was evaluated.
