Pedagogy, Education, and Praxis in Critical Times
Synopsis
This collection contains three (3) videos derived from selected articles in the 2020 Springer book edited by Mahon, Edwards-Groves, Francisco, Kaukko, Kemmis, and Petrie. The book explores critical questions about education that have concerned researchers in the Pedagogy, Education and Praxis (PEP) international network for over 15 years. It also shed light on the renewed importance of researching, leading, teaching, student learning, and professional learning in the light of current global uncertainty, disruption, and precariousness. Additionally, it aims to develop insights into theoretical and methodological approaches through which educators can make sense of the conditions that shape their decision-making and practices, and the impact these can have on learners and communities. The videos were submitted by Linking Standards and Quality Practices (LiSQuP) scholars as part of the requirement in the course PED 702: Trends and Issues in Andragory and Pedagogy.
