Document Analysis Descriptive Design
Synopsis
Before we could proceed with the discussion, we need to know what is document analysis is then from there we will extract why is it done by citing advantages and concerns that need to for the researchers to be aware of and lastly the types. Brown (2009) defines document analysis as a technique of research interpretation in which the researcher interprets documents to give them voice and meaning in relation to a certain evaluation of subject (Bowen, 2009). Another point is document analysis is an essential element of most triangulation methods (the use of several approaches to examine the same topic) (Bowen, 2009).
