Children's Perception on Teachers' Responses to Classroom Misbehaviours: Input to Classroom Management
Synopsis
This study generally aims to help teachers in handling misbehaving children by being aware of the perceptions of the pupils to their responses on classroom misbehaviours. This study aims to identify the misbehaviours in the Grades IV, V, and VI classrooms as reported by the teachers, and the responses of teachers to the misbehaviours as reported by the pupils. Children's perception on teacher's responses was also known to identify responses that are effective and acceptable. The study also inquires on other possible causes of misbehaviours such as academic performance, family background, and level of pupil self-esteem.
