Synopsis

The study assessed the rationality of beliefs and its association to self-worth and subjective well-being. The researcher strived to accomplish the purposes raised in this  research: (1) Determine if there is a significant difference on the rationality of beliefs of  digital natives when grouped according to gender and level of digital nativeness; (2) Identify the rationality of beliefs, self-worth and subjective well-being of the digital natives; (3) Determine if rational belief has an effect on self-worth and subjective well being. This is descriptive research which used surveys and included 100 female and 100  male respondents from the Teacher Education Institution. The results showed that female have a numerically little higher rationality of beliefs than male, while there is no significant difference in the level of digital nativeness. In general, it was found that the respondents have high rationality of beliefs and average irrationality of beliefs, average self-worth and high subjective well-being; and their rational belief is a weak predictor of self-worth and subjective well-being, yet, they have significant association.
